Introduction
Build your own LoloBox from a small computer board.
Enjoy building things? Make your own LoloBox from a small computer board. You put the parts together, prepare a microSD card and run one install command from a computer.
Want the easiest way to start? Buy a ready-made LoloBox.
Supported boards
OpenLolo runs on these boards. Start with the recommended build, or use a Raspberry Pi you already have.
| Build | Best for | Battery | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Radxa ZERO 3W | A pocket-size LoloBox | PiSugar 3 | Recommended |
| Raspberry Pi 4 | A Pi you already have | PiSugar 3 Plus | Coming soon |
| Raspberry Pi 3 | A Pi you already have | PiSugar 3 Plus | Coming soon |
The Radxa build is the one OpenLolo is made for. The installer sets up its battery, button and status light. On a Raspberry Pi, the PiSugar 3 Plus only provides power.
