Introduction

Introduction to OpenLolo.

OpenLolo is an open-source project that lets AI use your iPhone, with permission control. Your AI can already get things done on your computer. Now it can do the same on your iPhone. Ask in plain words, and it opens your apps, taps and types until the task is finished. All it takes is LoloBox, a pocket-size device you connect to your iPhone. Nothing is installed on your phone and no app runs in the background. The AI only acts when you allow it, and you can stop it any time.

Features

OpenLolo aims to make phone automation something anyone can use. It brings what used to take a computer and developer tools into one small device you connect once. Here are some of the features:

Works with your AI

Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor and other apps that support MCP.

Your apps, your accounts

The AI works in the apps you are already signed in to. Your passwords and cards stay on the phone.

Nothing to install

No app on your iPhone, no jailbreak, no profile, no certificate to renew.

App permissions

Give AI access to selected apps. Keep banking and other sensitive apps blocked.

You hold the switch

Turn LoloBox on when you want help. Turn it off and AI stops right away.

Know when AI is in control

Your iPhone's screen-recording indicator stays on while AI can control your phone.

Wireless

Pair once with USB. Then AI connects to your iPhone over Wi-Fi or your iPhone's hotspot.

Lasts all day

Efficient design and automatic sleep get you a full day on one charge.

Open source

MIT licensed. You can even build one yourself.

...and much more!
